HANNA, Anne

February 22, 1929 ~ December 12, 2016

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anne Hanna. Anne was born in Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland and came to Canada in 1953 to join her adoring husband George. She left us on December 12th to once again join George, her husband of 63 years. Anne was a loving mother and wife who gave freely of her time to others. She spent many years volunteering in the Red Cross Loan Cupboard and at school when her girls were young. Anne was a part of the St. Michael and All Angels quilting group where she enjoyed quilting, crafting and fellowship. Anne liked to paint, play bridge, and travel with George. Those who knew her appreciated her caring nature and her sense of humour.

Anne is lovingly remembered by her two daughters Linda (Len) Toop of Chilliwack, Christine (Craig) Andrichuk of Penticton, grandchildren Crystal Ryall, Jennifer Ryall, Bailey Andrichuk, Dustin Andrichuk, and great granddaughters Jayda Ryall and Olivia Ryall. Anne led her life with devotion, loyalty and strength. She was a bright light whose grace and compassion will be deeply missed. We would like to thank the many care aids, nurses and support staff who helped in her care. Donations may be made in Anne's memory to a charity of your choice. A family graveside service will be held on Friday December 16, 2016.
