October 2, 1963 - August 14, 2018
Alison Janet Schlamb passed away peacefully on August 14, 2018 at Chilliwack at the age of 54. Born in Glasgow Scotland, Alison came to Delta BC with her family where she grew up and graduated high school. She met Howard Schlamb in 1981 and fell in love. She worked in banking and retail until 1992 when Alison and Howard took over the family roofing business. Alison continued to work in the business until her passing.

Alison was a daily presence on Jesperson Dyke with her loyal dog Sadie. They would walk every day - it didn't matter the weather, rain, snow, sleet or heat. Alison would make the trek often bringing grandson Ayden in tow, letting him feed the chickens at the fence. She loved these times. Alison was so happy to be able to be a part of her grandson's life. She helped out in every way to raise her special gift until the disease made her too sick to have Ayden over for his weekly sleepovers.

She courageously fought to be a part of the family gatherings and outings and to stay at home until the end. She succeeded and passed away peacefully in the arms of Howard, surrounded by her loving family. Her sense of humour and smile will live on forever - she will be walking with the angels, looking down from above to keep watch over all her loved ones. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and by all those she touched.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Howard; children Cody (Nicole), Caitlin Morton (Dale) and Curtis (Rachael); grandchild Ayden - hopefully more to come; brothers Alan and Stuart Leslie, sister-in-law Bev VandenBrink, nieces and nephews, Oscar & Linda Schlamb, sister-in-law Val Rude and brother-in-law Melvin Schlamb. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Jean Leslie, Barry VandenBrink and Kassandra Kaulius.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Yarrow Hall, 4670 Community St, Yarrow BC; reception to follow. Memorial Donations in Alison's name can be made to the Kassandra Kaulius Scholarship Fund, c/o #12-14952 58 Avenue, Surrey BC V3S 9J2 or e-transfer kassandrafund@hotmail.com.

Missed forever - till we meet again.
