Alfred “Roydon” Zink late of Sardis, B.C., passed away September 25, 2003 at the age of 80 years. He was born August 18, 1923 in Chilliwack and had lived in this area his entire life.
Roydon was the son of a pioneer family and a long time dairy farmer. He was Past
Director of the Dairy Herd
Improvement Association, Past Director of the Artificial Insemination, Member of the Holeinthewall Club and the airport coffee bunch. He spent many years travelling and fishing.
A Memorial Service will be held from the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Doug Ireland officiating. Cremation, Valley Crematorium with interment at Chilliwack Cemeteries.
He is survived by his wife Mildred; sons Mike (Loretta); Stan; daughter Gloria (Pierre) Le Gal; sisters Norma Bean and Vera Armstrong; grandchildren Francois and
Denise Le Gal; Greg and Grant Zink.
He was predeceased by his twin brother, Don and daughter-in-law Frances.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
