November 12, 1933 - April 5, 2021
Adam was born, the third youngest of 13, to Mary and Joseph Sieben in Cosine, Saskatchewan.
After graduating from St.Thomas College in North Battleford, Sask., he joined the RCMP, and became a member of the Musical Ride.
This brought him to Ottawa, were he met his future wife Rena Thériault, at a YMCA dance. After leaving the force in May 1960, he joined Shell Canada as a marketing representative and married Rena that following October.
After 5 corporate transfers all in BC, he retired in Kelowna in 1993, and enjoyed settling down in Chilliwack for the last 16 years, and totalled 29 years of retirement, with RV'ing for ten of those years.
He was predeceased by 3 sisters and 8 brothers, and leaves behind his wife Rena, three sons, Richard, Allan (Terez), David (Kimberly), and five grandchildren, Thalia, Avery, Brandon, Victoria, and Emily; one sister, Pearl Loendorf of Saskatoon, Sask. and many nieces and nephews all over Western Canada.
We will remember his fondness for playing the guitar, and writing Christmas limericks, and jovial poems and songs about colleagues and friends. Adam was quite adept at fixing what needed to be fixed and was affectionately known in his household as Mr. Fix it. He was such a dedicated father, husband and Shell employee. He enjoyed his 13 years as treasurer and singer with the male chorus of the Kelowna Knights of Columbus.
His funeral was held at St Mary's Church, in Chilliwack, April 9th, 2021 and Mass was officiated by Father Wilfred Gomes, and also streamed online.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.
Love you Adam, dad, grandpa, uncle...♥ ... until we meet again!
