Ada Hamilton passed away on February 13th, 2011 at Valley Haven Care Home in Chilliwack at age 90 years. She was born on March 14th, 1920 near Viscount, Saskatchewan.
Ada is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Hamilton in 1970.
Ada was a longtime resident of the Camp River Area. She enjoyed music, dancing, gardening, children and animals. Over the years she held many volunteer positions such as a teacher’s aide, secretary for the Rosedale United Church, Camp River Ladies Circle and Camp River Community Hall Society. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army kitchen for many years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel at Henderson’s Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Children’s Hospital.
