A 21-year-old woman was airlifted to Royal Columbian Hospital Thursday afternoon after the vehicle she was driving rolled over on Camp River Road in Chilliwack.
The woman suffered a "near amputation" of her left arm as a result, said RCMP.
She was travelling eastbound with one passenger when the single-vehicle collision occurred east of Standeven Road.
A helicopter landing site was set up in a field on Chapman Road, just east of the accident scene.
The passenger of the vehicle did not suffer serious injuries.
The rollover occurred around 3:30 p.m. and as of 5 p.m., traffic on Camp River Road was still being re-routed.
Police are investigating.
