VIDEO: Abandoned pickup pulled from Hope Slough in Chilliwack

Hope River Road was blocked in both directions Monday around noon as crews pulled an abandoned pickup truck out of the Hope Slough.

The white pickup was reported to police in the slough just west of Kinsmen Park late morning. BC Ambulance Service paramedics were called but when they arrived there was no one at the scene.

Crews from Wally’s Towing pulled the pickup out of the slough just before noon.

Traffic was still blocked as they dealt with the truck after 12 p.m.
