Thieves target Target in electronics heist

Approximately $15,000 in electronics was stolen from the Cottonwood Mall department store in a brazen Monday night break-in.

The Chilliwack RCMP are asking for the public's help in a major break-and-enter case.

Late Monday night police were called out to Cottonwood Mall after the security alarm went off in the Target department store.

Thieves had broken in and made off with approximately $15,000 in electronics, disappearing before the RCMP arrived.

The police are currently investigating this occurrence, and any information from the public regarding suspicious activity can be helpful,” said Cst. Ashley St. Germaine.
