They're welcoming ideas on how to minimize impacts to local residents as they prepare to embark on a pipeline project.
Spectra Energy is planning to replace a section of its 30-inch natural gas pipeline in Chilliwack this year.
Residents can join them at an open house Wednesday, Jan. 29, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cottonwood Mall in the centre court area on Luckakuck Way.
"This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the work," said spokesperson Joanne Metz.
The replacement project, which is 600 metres of the pipeline, begins east of the commercial area adjacent the railway crossing, to the Chilliwack Mall.
Spectra officials will be recording suggestions. Refreshments will be served.
