As the days count down to Christmas, more volunteers have stepped up to read safety messages for the Chilliwack Fire Department.
Tuesday's message comes from the Downtown Chilliwack BIA's Harold Zinke, who reminds everyone to remember to turn off space heaters when you go to sleep or leave a room.
The firehall is posting safety messages every day on Twitter leading up to Christmas.
