There are currently nine active exposure notices in Chilliwack area schools, with seven in public schools and two in independent schools.

The exposure notices are coming to parents sooner than they were coming prior to the Christmas break, sometimes only two days after the exposure event. Prior to Christmas, some exposure notices were being sent out close to or even after the 14-day incubation period.

As of Sunday, Jan. 24, the schools with notices are:

Chilliwack Middle School: Jan. 15 and 18

Chilliwack Secondary: Jan. 13, 14 and 15

GW Graham Secondary: Jan. 19, 20 and 21, 2021

Mount Slesse Middle School: Jan. 11, 12, 13 and 18

Promontory Heights Community Elementary: Jan. 15 and 18

Vedder Elementary: Jan. 11, 12, 19 and 20

Vedder Middle: Jan. 18, 19 and 20

Squiala Elementary (Independent): Jan. 15 and 18

Cascade Christian (Independent): Jan. 14, 15, 18 and 19

School exposures are listed on the Fraser Health website, along with information about contact tracing, isolating and other important COVID-19 protocols. The information on schools is updated daily, and notices are removed after 14 days.
