This time Kristopher Thomas Bradley Vandenbrink likely won’t be moving anywhere too quickly as he appeared in a Chilliwack courtroom Friday with crutches, moving very slowly.
Vandenbrink faces two charges of assaulting a peace officer and one charge of escaping from lawful custody after witnesses saw him try to burst out of the prisoner’s box in courtroom 204 on April 8.
The 26-year-old was in court that day facing numerous charges connected to three files.
He has a history of identity theft and credit card fraud, but also a history of resisting arrest. Twice previously he has been charged with willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
