Cultus Lake firefighters were called out to a boatfire on the lake on Monday morning.
Scan BC reported the incident at about 11:20 a.m.

It was not clear immediately whether there was anyone on board the boat at the time, or if there are injuries. A photo posted to Twitter by an @mjwatts85 shows dozens of people gathered on the shore and on a dock watching the blaze, which was close to a treed shoreline.
The fire began at about the same time people were gathering to watch the eclipse of the sun, at Sunnyside Campground.
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans has been called out and a boom is being set up to contain fluids from the boat.
