A suspected marijuana dispensary on Yale Road was raided and closed Wednesday night.
Chilliwack RCMP said suspected marijuana and cannabis products were seized during the search and seizure by RCMP.
A police officer who was on patrol with the Quick Response Team had initially observed “suspicious behaviour of individuals” outside the unit in the 46000-block of Yale Road earlier that day.
Later a search warrant was executed by other police officers, netting a large quantity of suspected marijuana, cannabis edibles, oils, pills, cash, and business records.
A heavy police presence was noted by neighbours in front of the building containing the suspected dispensary, which called itself the Church of Holy Cassia.

No arrests were made.
“An alert officer, timely investigation by the Chilliwack Crime Reduction unit, and the coordinated effort of police resources were essential to preventing drugs from reaching the streets of our community,” said Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD.
