Chilliwack RCMP are responding to another armed robbery of a local business.

A male suspect produced a knife and escaped with a small amount of cash from a Subway restaurant on Popkum Road just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.

He was last seen on a bike heading west on Yale Road.

The suspect is described as a First Nations male, around five-foot, seven-inches in hight, and wearing a black and grey jacket. He wore a black and white bandana around his face.

The incident is the latest in spate of armed robberies. As many as five businesses have been robbed in the past few days.

Most have centred on convenience stores and sandwich shops.
