Seventeen years ago, Wayne and Wendy Toews launched Line-X spray-on truck bed liner in the Fraser Valley. When they later sold the franchise to Chilliwack’s Trademasters Vehicle Solutions, it began a relationship that would see Wayne joining then owners Casey and Brenda Hillton as General Manager.
Fast forward 12 years, and Wayne and Wendy are the new owners of Trademasters, working together again in the business they know and love.
“It’s really come full circle,” Wendy says. “Everything you do prepares you for what’s coming next.”
In addition to Wayne’s extensive experience and established relationships with customers and staff, Wendy also brings her complementary business skills to the independent, family-owned Trademasters, which through its 31 years has built a reputation on a key principle: “Yes We Can.”

“We have whatever you need to customize your ride, tow your trailer, and a lot more,” Wayne explains, pointing to trailer maintenance, flat tow systems and van upfitting – outfitting a vehicle to your unique specifications. There’s also a line of Truck Gear by Line-X – think step bars, tonneau covers and floor liners – and a whole lot more.
“When customers have a challenge that needs a little creativity, we try to find a way,” Wayne says.
