On Oct. 28, the Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society is thrilled to invite you to a special event filled with spooky delights!

The Hunter’s Moon Halloween is an enchanting evening filled with magic and mystery, that you can take part in by dressing in your most spectacular costume or hauntingly beautiful black tie attire.

With live performances by contortionists from NZR Productions, the captivating siren singing of The Valley Babes, and with live music from the band Soulstream, you can dance the night away.

This extraordinary evening will be filled not only with spectacular performances, but delectable food served right on the HUB International Stage, offering a unique glimpse into The Centre that’s seldom shared with the public.

Returning to The Centre is the beloved Arts Club with their gut-bustingly hilarious The Birds & The Bees! On Nov. 1, Sarah and her mother Gail come to realizations about life, love and sex, while they try to figure out why Gail’s honeybees are dropping dead.

Warm-hearted and sweet, this play is about two women tackling their generational differences alongside Gail’s flirty neighbour, Earl, and a young graduate student, Ben. This hysterical Canadian play about beekeeping, farming, family and new beginnings will have you screaming with laughter!

Beautiful, captivating, and glamourous, Hedy! The Life and Inventions of Hedy Lamarr celebrates the scientific genius of Hollywood’s siren of the silver screen.

On Nov. 16, this enthralling play will tell the true story of the woman who was known as the most beautiful woman in the world. Hedy Lamarr is a role model for intelligence, ingenuity and invention, and you can see how her story unfolds as she danced between acting and using her spare time inventing technology for torpedoes during the Second World War.

This spectacular evening will feature a pre-show screening of a short film from the Chilliwack Independent Film Festival made by women, and a curated art exhibit by the Chilliwack Visual Artists Association featuring female artists. Dress up in your favourite black and white attire, or 1940s vintage clothing for this thrilling evening.

Join us at The Centre for one, or all, of these beautiful events to celebrate the fall season!
