Time is the secret ingredient
Even with the best ingredients, the best possible pizza takes time. Elevated Pizza makes their own special-recipe pizza dough from scratch, freshly slice all their own Prosciutto, grate their own blend of cheeses, and make their own fresh tomato sauce — and these aren’t recipes from a book — each one is a house-made, tried-and-taste-tested, unique-to-Elevated-Pizza recipe that have evolved over the years.
Getting the perfect pizza dough was no easy task, and Johnny spent the better part of a year perfecting the recipe for the Sicilian Pan Pizza. It is, as Johnny says with enthusiasm, “a super-epic pizza!” This is the best pizza crust going — it’s prepared in the morning and allowed to rise, then pre-baked before toppings are added to create the perfect balance between a deep-dish and thin-crust pizza.
This taste of pizza perfection is available two ways: Sicilian cheese topped with house-made Fra Diavolo sauce (spicy!), mozzarella blend, Grana Padano, oregano, and basil, or try the Sicilian pepperoni pizza which adds TONS of Cup N’ Char pepperoni and omits the oregano.
It’s the best of both worlds with a light centre and crispy, delicious bottom. This one is popular and only available till it’s sold out each day!
Something to please every palate
The menu is simple and boasts five vegetarian options and five meat options, each a signature blend of flavours and textures — there’s bound to be one that will become your favourite. Everything from the sauce to the toppings is a unique flavour sensation. House-made red sauce is a staple ingredient on most of the pizzas and toppings range from balsamic reduction to goat’s milk cheese to hand-pinched Italian sausage to the unique Mike’s Hot Honey (a must-try all the way from New York!).
Each pizza is topped with fresh basil, Grana Padano cheese (imported from Italy), and some include extra virgin olive oil too. All orders are take out-only and if you want to avoid the rush and make sure you get to try that amazing Sicilian pizza, come in Tuesday through Thursday!
