There’s some time left to register for a Nov. 29 telephone town hall with the B.C. Premier for citizens of Chilliwack, and District of Kent.
Local MLAs Kelli Paddon and Dan Coulter will be hosting the town hall event with B.C. Premier David Eby on the line to answer questions and concerns.
“We’re looking forward to having Premier Eby talk to the people of Chilliwack and Kent directly!” said Kelli Paddon, MLA for Chilliwack-Kent.
The idea is hearing what’s most important to folks in those communities, she said.
“Our government has been taking action to support people here and across B.C., and this is a fantastic opportunity to share with the Premier and your MLAs.”
The town hall is set for Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m., and anyone interested has to pre-register in order to participate or get questions answered.
Chilliwack MLA Dan Coulter expects “cost of living, housing and other issues” to be top of mind for the people of Chilliwack and Kent who’ll be calling in.
“Our government, led by Premier Eby, is working hard to make life better for people in this region and across British Columbia and we want to hear what we might be doing well and what people want to see more of,” Coulter added.
Once registered, participants will receive a call to the phone number they registered with, just before the town hall begins. They will be prompted to join and ask a question.
