Chilliwack was digging out Saturday morning after an additional 17 centimetres of snow fell overnight.
According to Roger Pannett, volunteer weather observer with Environment Canada, the latest amount brought a total accumulation of nearly 27 cm of snow over a 24-hour period.
The snowfall warning for Chilliwack ended Saturday morning, with a forecast of sunny breaks Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to climb throughout the day, with rain mixed with a few flurries forecast for Saturday night.
