Abbotsford’s Winter Break Up Music Festival, set for Nov. 18 at Tradex, has been announced as the official album release event for country artist Dallas Smith.

The Langley product is set to use the festival to celebrate the launch of his new self-titled album, which will be released on Oct. 27.

A multiple Juno and Canadian Country Music Award winner, and 2022 Country Music Award nominee, Smith is one of the most celebrated artists in Canadian country music having amassing 18 Canadian Gold-certified singles, four Canadian Gold-certified albums, and seven Canadian Platinum-certified singles along with more than 500 million combined streams to date.

Tradex will be transformed into a country music hot spot, with music from Smith, The Reklaws, Dane Bateman, Zach McPhee and The Millenials scheduled to perform. The event will also feature also food, games, a 19-Plus VIP area and a post-concert after party.

This festival comes on the heels of the Spring Break Up Concert Festival, which occurred at Tradex on March 25 and featured Dean Brody, Megan Patrick, Tyler Joe Miller and Dane Bateman.
