Dumpsite for possible fentanyl lab found outside Mission

RCMP say site cleaned up after equipment discovered consistent with fentanyl production

The dumpsite for a potential fentanyl lab was discovered in Mission last Monday (March 25).

According to Mission RCMP’s weekly “Community Connection” crime recap, a Deroche resident found a suspicious disposal site on Nicomen Slough Road.

The RCMP’s Clandestine Lab Enforcement and Response Team attended the property and investigators determined the equipment appeared to have been from a fentanyl lab.

The site was cleaned up and items were removed.

Those with information are urged to call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
