Beauty-care giant Sephora may be coming to Cottonwood Centre.

Sephora appears to be the next retail store joining the Cottonwood family on Luckakuck Way, according to a leasing brochure from Warrington PCI Management.

The brochure’s floor plan shows “Sephora” in a 3,950 square-foot space, near the Save-On-Foods, and it is framed in red to indicate it is part of the mall’s “spring 2024 re-development” plans.

However when mall management was asked for confirmation, they sent this reply:

“We do not have a signed lease agreement with the possible new tenant mentioned in your message. Unfortunately we have no further comment at this time,” Mark Davis, general manager of the Cottonwood Centre.

If it came to fruition it would make two commercial retail units set to open next year in the mall, along with the new BC Liquor store, at 45585 Luckakuck Way.

There are also Sephora locations in Abbotsford, Langley and Surrey.

Some changes in conjunction with the latest mall renovations include a new mall entrance, removal of the food court, and construction of the new liquor store which is now underway.

Warrington PCI Management is a Vancouver-based real estate company which manages Cottonwood Centre. The Cottonwood Mall first opened in Chilliwack in 1974 as the first regional shopping centre in the city.

The recent mall revitalization has seen new tenants settling in the last couple of years like Save-On-Foods, Old Navy, and Club 16 Fitness, with more to come including the re-located BC Liquor store moving from its Vedder Road location.

Calls to the mall management for confirmation that a Sephora will be opening in Cottonwood in 2024 were not returned.
