Blippi is returning to Abbotsford later this year.
The popular American children’s entertainer and educator brings the Join the Band Tour to the Abbotsford Centre on Friday, Nov. 8.
Blippi last came to Abbotsford on May 21, 2023.
According to a press release from the tour, Blippi will be joined onstage by Meekah along with their singing and dancing buddies and live musicians.
The group will explore the sounds, rhythms and instruments that create music.
“Following the success of previous tours, Blippi: Join the Band Tour will bring families to their feet across the country to dance and sing along to their favourite Blippi hits as well as some brand new songs,” stated Susan Vargo, Head of Global Experiences at Moonbug Entertainment. “Parents and kids alike will share in making music the Blippi way, with curiosity and silliness centre stage.”
The press release states that Blippi has more than one billion monthly views across platforms including Netflix, HBO Max, Cartoonito, Sky, Amazon and YouTube. Blippi is available in more than 20 languages, including ASL, and is distributed by more than 30 global broadcast and streaming partners.
Other B.C. stops for the Blippi: Join the Band Tour include: Penticton (Nov. 9) and Vancouver (Nov. 10).
