Chilliwack Law Courts. (Chilliwack Progress file)

It is concerning that our courts have exempted themselves from B.C. privacy laws, therefore putting the public at risk of identity theft or other crimes.

Some of the many documents available to the public include traffic tickets, wills, financial documents, health reports/assessments and many more personal documents.

Our courts should have to comply with B.C. privacy laws, to protect the public from being victimized from documents that are freely handed out by the courts, containing personal information.
