Talented, young musicians and dancers will grace the Chilliwack Cultural Centre stage for two live performances before heading to provincials.

The top contenders from the 75th annual Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival – which was a virtual event this year – will be performing in the two live performances in April.

A total of 25 young performers will be part of the Music Honours Performance on Saturday, April 9, and 12 of them will be heading to the Performing Arts BC Provincial Virtual Festival in early June.

“Most of these are local Chilliwack performers and can use an appreciative audience to encourage their first foray into live performing in over two years,” said festival organizer Laurie Hirschman.

The live Dance Honours Performance is set for Saturday, April 30.

Both events will take place at 7 p.m. at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.

Tickets are $10 each and children 4 and under are free. Vaccine passports are no longer required.
