Folk singer-songwriter, Josh Hyslop, will be performing this Friday in downtown Chilliwack.
He is a modern folk musician, an amalgam of influence in the classically romantic tradition of Damien Rice, Ryan Adams, Iron and Wine, and Sufjan Stevens.
Like the said ballyhooed folksters before him, Joshua is inspired to write largely as a result of the people and relationships surrounding him, while also subjecting his songs to his own vulnerabilities, doubts, and conflicts.
Josh Hyslop performs at the Acoustic Emporium (45892 Wellington Ave.) on Friday, Nov. 25. Doors open at 7 p.m. and show is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets $12 at the door.
