Find Me My Furever Home is a regular video featuring animals up for adoption at the Chilliwack SPCA. It is put together by The Progress in partnership with the Chilliwack SPCA.
A feral dog who was brought to the Chilliwack SPCA is now finally ready to find his ‘furever’ home.
“He was running around, didn’t have a family,” said Chloé MacBeth, branch manager with the Chilliwack SPCA.
Red is a three-year-old Labrador retriever mix who is very sweet and kind, and has never been aggressive.
“He has come leaps and bounds with his behaviour. We’ve done a lot of work here at the shelter to help him through his fear,” MacBeth added.
Red will need to go to a special home with someone who is very patient, quiet, and will help him overcome his fears.
Due to COVID-19, the Chilliwack SPCA branch is only open by appointment. You can call them at 604-823-6612.
If you’re interested in adopting Red, or any other animal from the Chilliwack SPCA, call the shelter. You can also go online to spca.bc.ca to see all of the animals that are up for adoption or to learn more about fostering animals.
Red’s SPCA ID number is: 545921.
