Find Me My Furever Home is a weekly video featuring animals up for adoption at the Chilliwack SPCA. It is put together by The Progress in partnership with the Chilliwack SPCA.
A female puppy who was found at large and is now at the Chilliwack SPCA is looking for a special place to call home.
“Rachel is a very sweet puppy,” said Chloé MacBeth, branch manager with the Chilliwack SPCA. “She’s going to need a little bit of a specialized home because she was found at large so she doesn’t know what a house is.”
She is about six months old and is a black Labrador retriever cross. Rachel will need a bit of work since she is not house trained nor is she leash trained.
“But she’s young and healthy and is going to have many, many years to give to a family that is going to appreciate her for who she is.”
Due to COVID-19, the Chilliwack SPCA branch is only open by appointment. You can call them at 604-823-6612.
If you’re interested in adopting Rachel, or any other animal from the Chilliwack SPCA, call the shelter. You can also go online to spca.bc.ca to see all of the animals that are up for adoption or to learn more about fostering animals.
Rachel’s SPCA ID number is: 530050.
