Get ready for a cocktail party to pamper your inner diva with a local fundraising edge.
The owners of two local ventures, Kim Mallory Photography and Diva Boutique, are inviting local women to treat themselves to a Domestic Diva Night on April 29.
All proceeds are going to the Ann Davis Transition Society.
"We'll be transforming our downtown Chilliwack studio into some swanky digs for the night," says Kim Mallory.
A cash bar will be serving lovely libations like pink passion martinis to get the girly-oriented fun started. They'll be offering treats, spa services, a mingler fashion show, boutique shopping, and of course, a silent auction.
"We'll also be learning some sexy moves from Aryn from the Goddess Movement," Mallory said.
Entertainment will be provided by comedian Karen Jarvis and some great music will be in the air.
Several local business reps will be on-hand with a variety of pampering services to offer that are included in the ticket price, from a hand massage, to a tarot card reading. And if that weren't tempting enough, they're throwing in a goodie bag at the end for extra good measure.
The focus of the fundraiser is on the prevention of violence against women and on raising awareness about the Ann Davis Transition Society.
