Neighbours build sledding hill in middle of cul-de-sac in Chilliwack

The kids living on John Place in Sardis now have their own sledding hill right on their street.

Above, Megan Rempel, 12, slides down a 12-foot pile of snow in the centre of the cul-de-sac on her street, John Place, in Sardis on Wednesday.

She, along with (from left, on top of hill) Boston Erler, 6, Kobi Erler, 7, and Dylan Rempel, 10, had a blast sliding down the hill.

The snow was gathered from the driveways and street by a neighbour's friend and piled in the middle of the cul-de-sac Monday night, with enough room for cars to sit go around it, making it the perfect sledding hill for the quiet street.

The kids played on the hill all day Tuesday, and after school on Wednesday.
