Hear stories about addiction, recovery at Chilliwack fundraiser

Night of Hope Gala will raise money for recovery programs at Ruth and Naomi’s Mission

An upcoming gala in Chilliwack will raise money to help people with their recovery from addiction.

The Night of Hope Gala for Ruth and Naomi’s Mission is set for Friday, May 3 at Chilliwack Alliance Church.

They’re calling it an evening of “changed lives” where guests will hear stories from those who have gone through recovery.

“While the news is filled with stories about the challenges and tragedies of addiction, and a toxic drug supply, we firmly believe that recovery is possible,” reads the event description. “We’ve seen it and are currently walking with 28 men and women on their journey of recovery. Come and hear real stories of transformed lives and help us raise funds to expand and enhance our men’s and women’s recovery programs.”
