Members of Chilliwack Toastmasters are inviting people to their open house in April.

The group, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, helps people with public speaking and presentation skills.

“We support each other developing confidence to speak in front of people and improve our communication and leadership skills. Our goal is to learn while having fun in a positive environment,” Chilliwack Toastmasters stated in a press release.

The Chilliwack Toastmasters open house is set for Wednesday, April 13 at 7:15 p.m. at the Mt Cheam Lions Club Hall (45580 Spadina Ave.).

The group gets together every Wednesday and meetings are accessible either in-person or online using Zoom.
