VIDEO: Find Me My Furever Home - Smokey at the Chilliwack SPCA

Smokey, who was found with wounds on his head, is now up for adoption at the Chilliwack SPCA

Find Me My Furever Home is a weekly video featuring animals up for adoption at the Chilliwack SPCA. It is put together by The Progress in partnership with the Chilliwack SPCA.

Meet Smokey, a 10-year-old lab cross up for adoption at the Chilliwack SPCA.

Smokey came in to the shelter with his buddy, Rocky, earlier in October. He was found with wounds on his body, specifically his right ear.

“He came in needing quite a bit of medical care, but he’s all fixed up,” says Chilliwack SPCA branch manager Chloé MacBeth.

Smokey does fairly well with other dogs and even cats.

“He needs a very relaxed, quiet home. He’s a really good boy and we’re looking forward to finding his perfect match.”

Smokey’s SPCA ID number is 499410.

If you’re interested in adopting Smokey, or any other animal from the Chilliwack SPCA, call 604-823-6612. Hours are Friday to Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. You can also call to make an appointment outside of those hours.
