Zweep finds hockey home at Western New England U

Versatile Chilliwack Chiefs player Nolan Zweep will join the NCAA division-three Golden Bears in September.

Nolan Zweep has collected assists in three of his last four outings with the Chilliwack Chiefs.

Chilliwack Chiefs forward/defenceman Nolan Zweep has committed to Western New England University, and will join the Golden Bears this fall.

The 19 year old signs on to a program that competes in the NCAA’s Div. III Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

The Golden Bears play the likes of Curry College, the University of New England, Salve Regina University and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Western New England U is located in Springfield, Mass. The school has 3,955 undergraduate and graduate students and offers close to 50 undergraduate degree programs.

Zweep is finishing up his second BCHL campaign.

He split last season between the Chiefs and Prince George Spruce Kings. With Chilliwack this season, Zweep has collected four assists in 33 games.
