Valley Rebels edge Mustangs

Chilliwack’s West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association Mustangs dropped their home opener on Saturday, losing 12-11 to the Valley Rebels at Prospera Centre.

Brennan Galbraith had four goals and one assist for the home team with Tyler Garrah adding two goals and two helpers.

Cole Bjeke scored once and had six assists.

Anthony Besse, Travis Koller, Chris Veenstra and Ryan Haywood all found the net.

The Mustangs are back home Saturday night, hosting the North Shore Indians at Prospera Centre.

The game starts at 8 p.m.

They hit the road Sunday night, travelling to Nanaimo to face the Timbermen.
