The Valley Huskers football team is looking to hype up the hometown crowd this season with the creation of a cheer team.
Tryouts will be held March 23, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at Cultus Lake elementary school.
Kim Spencer and Rhonda Laszlo will manage the team, which is open to anyone between the ages of 16 and 20.
