The University of the Fraser Valley athletic department launches Volleyfest next month, an outdoor volleyball tournament which will run at Abbotsford’s Exhibition Park.
The tourney runs Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will be divided into three coed youth divisions (13/14U, 15/16U and 17/18U) and two coed adult divisions (recreational and competitive). Games will be played on grass courts with teams of six players per side.
The cost per team is $125 before Aug. 1, and $150 thereafter until registration closes on Aug. 27.
