Tryout triumph for Chilliwack girls

A pair of Chilliwack players will compete in Canadian girls lacrosse nationals, taking place in New Westminster July 23-28.

Ashley Heisler was selected to the midget roster, impressing coach Dan Stroup with her performance at  Team B.C. tryouts, held June 10-12 in Richmond. Christel Besch did the same on the bantam side.

At nationals, the girls will be taking on teams from the Maritimes, Alberta, Ontario and the Iroquois Nation.
