Summer slamming as Lejeune joins Team BC

Chilliwack hoops star Hayden Lejeune will play for Team BC at the upcoming Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec.

According to his father, Sardis secondary school basketball star Hayden Lejeune has been named to the 12-man Team BC roster for the upcoming Canada Summer Games.

The roster has yet to officially be released online, but John Lejeune says his son will be in Sherbrooke, QC, from Aug. 2-17.

Lejeune and company will open against Newfoundland/Labrador Aug. 4.

They face Quebec at 6:05 p.m. on Aug. 6 in a game that will be televised nationally on TSN2.

Quarter-finals take place Aug. 7.

Semi-finals take place Aug. 8 and the bronze and gold medal games go Aug. 9.
