Spring soccer signup opens

Chilliwack FC is making slight changes to its popular spring soccer program, introducing basic training at the youngest levels.

Online and in-person registration for Chilliwack FC's spring soccer league is open.

CFC presents the league as a less-structured version of their fall offering, with no practices and one game per week. Results aren't recorded and standings aren't kept.

But subtle changes are coming to spring soccer this year. Responding to a demand for basic skills training, CFC will introduce bi-weekly training for the U5, U6, and U7/8 age groups. Open to all players, the sessions will be voluntary, overseen by CFC club and team coaches.

With the opening of two new turf fields in Chilliwack (Exhibition Stadium and Chilliwack secondary school), spring soccer games will also be transitioning away from Fairfield Island. Game nights will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Register in person at the CFC office, located at Townsend Park.
