The Chilliwack Minor Fastpitch Association has opened registration for the 2014 season at chilliwackminorfastpitch.com, with an early registration discount of $25 available from now until Jan. 15.
Anyone wishing to give the sport a try is invited to free skills clinics, taking place all winter.
For kids born 1996-2001, practices start now and run Thursdays, from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. at the Chilliwack Ag-Rec Centre. For kids born 2002-2008, practices start Jan. 8, running from 6:15 to 8 p.m. at Vedder middle school.
Drop-ins are encouraged for both groups.
