Sack artist sets mark against hometown team

Chilliwack's Evan Foster wreaked havoc against the Valley Huskers, recording four QB sacks to set a new BCFC/CJFL record.

During Saturday’s game against the Valley Huskers, Chilliwack native  Evan Foster set a new BCFC and CJFL single season record for sacks in a season.

Foster, a Chilliwack Minor Football product, dropped Husker pivot Cody Parray four times to finish the 2013 campaign with 16 sacks.

The Langley Ram averaged a sack-and-a-half per game over the 10 game regular season schedule.

He did his best work against Victoria’s Westshore Rebels, dropping their quarterbacks five times.

He had four sacks apiece against the Huskers and Nanaimo’s Vancouver Island Raiders.

Foster’s Rams visit the Okanagan Sun in playoff action this weekend.
