Tickets for the 2018 Royal Bank Cup will be available to the public starting April 3.
The RBC Cup organizing committee held a press conference at City Hall Wednesday morning, providing updates on the junior A national championship that will be held in Chilliwack next May.
Andrea Laycock is in charge of tickets for the tourney.
She said Chilliwack Chiefs season ticket holders will have the first crack at RBC Cup tix.
“We have created a 13 game package that will go on sale Saturday (Mar. 4) to our season ticket holders,” Laycock explained. “The cost is $179, giving those season ticket holders rights to their seats. They will have until Mar. 31 to secure their seats and after that they'll be released to the public.”
Fans who want specific seats for the RBC Cup can put themselves on a 'priority access' waiting list. By filling out a form and plunking down a non-refundable $50 deposit, they'll be able to lock down the seats they want Apr. 1.
“There is no place like Prospera Centre when it's full,” Laycock said. “It's rocking and it's electric and that's what we want to generate at the RBC Cup for all 13 games.”
