Rowing rollout

The Fraser Valley Rowing club is starting  spring/summer Rowing and Learn to Row programs.

The club offers Youth Learn to Row (under 19 years) for $100, covering eight one-and-a-half hour lessons.

Adult Learn to Row is $160.

Membership information can be found online at www.fraservalleyrowingclub.com.

FVRC is also looking to hire another Learn to Row coach. Anyone who is interested in coaching but does not have their NCCP Learn to Row certificate, can get their fee covered by FVRC with the understanding that they will then go on to be one of our paid summer contract coaches.

Contact fvrcmembership@gmail.com for info or to send a resume.

FVRC also wants to remind university rowers about its university student summer user fee. If they are a RCA insured rower and are home for the summer and want to keep rowing the fee is $125 from May thru to the end of August.

The club is located at 40110 Quadling Road in Abbotsford.
