Rapids hit home

The Chilliwack Rapids have a pair of Fraser Valley Soccer League home games coming up. The team hosts Gordonhead (Vancouver Island) on Saturday, 2 p.m. at Townsend Park.

This is a semi-final game in the chase for a new prize introduced this year called the Pacific Cup.

Playoffs started with the top eight FVSL teams matching up against their counterparts from the Vancouver Island league. The final four are Gordonhead, Chilliwack, Gorge and Port Coquitlam.

On Feb. 11 the Rapids are back at home at 8 p.m. to take on the Surrey FC Rangers in a Pakenham Cup first round match. For more info on that prize, see www.bcsoccerweb.com/articles-features/packenham-cup.htm.
