Gerry Norrish was the open class winner at last weekend’s 89th annual Chilliwack’s Plowing Match, edging out second place Brent Holcik 68-67.
Gene Sache took top spot in the senior class, his 251 points well ahead of Shane Thomson (198), Adam Sache (193) and Pierre Sache (191). The junior title went to Andrew Graham while Francis Sache took the reversible class.
Gene and Adam Sache and Thomson will represent B.C. at the Canadian Plowing Championships, held in Ontario in August.
