PHOTOS: Chilliwack women’s rugby team plays first ever home game

Brand-new Chilliwack Crusaders women’s team took on Langley at Yarrow Sportsfield

A brand-new Chilliwack women’s rugby team played their first ever home game on Saturday.

The newly formed women’s team with the Chilliwack Crusaders Rugby Football Club (RFC) took on the Langley Rugby Club on Feb. 26 at Yarrow Sportsfield.

Although the game was their first home game, the team had two away games under their belt having played their inaugural game against Capilano RFC on Feb. 5, and a match against the Nanaimo Hornets on Feb. 12.

The team is looking for more women aged 18 and up to join them. For more info, email Landrywinkles1998@gmail.com.
