Two Chilliwackians have received awards from Canoe Kayak BC.
The organization honoured the province’s top athletes, coaches and officials from 2015 at an awards reception last Saturday in Maple Ridge.
Rob Fletcher was named Volunteer of the Year, recognized for the countless hours he puts into the local paddling scene with the Chilliwack Centre of Excellence.
2015 Pan-Am Games gold medalist Jazmyne Denhollander was an easy pick as Whitewater Athlete of the Year.
