Nine BCHLers rated by Central Scouting

There is no premium Adam Tambellini-like prospect, but nine BCHL junior A skaters are on the National Hockey League radar.

The National Hockey League’s Central Scouting Bureau released its preliminary rankings of 2014 draft-eligible skaters, with nine BCHLers making the list.

All of them earned C grades, meaning they’re likely to be picked in the fourth round or later.

Vernon’s Mason Blacklock headlines the BCHLers, joined by Viper teammate Demico Hannoun and the Penticton Vee trio of Alexandre Coulombe, Hunter Miska and Jack Ramsey.

Alex Gillies (Salmon Arm), Luke Ripley (Powell River), Adam Rockwood (Coquitlam) and Jeff Wight (Merritt) round out the list.
